20 Year Limited Warranty

Warranty Overview
In summary, in accordance of the conditions set forth below, this warranty covers any visible sag in the mattress over 1.25”.  There are no fees associated with returning the mattress in the first 10 years to ZenBed® BUT the product must be, at our option, inspected by ZenBed® before a warranty claim can be processed.  Read on for more details.

ZenBed® Mattress 20 Year Limited Warranty
ZenBed® warrants that it will, at ZenBed®’s option, replace or repair purchaser’s ZenBed® if it is defective due to defective materials or craftsmanship, subject to the limitations described in this limited warranty.  There are no warranties additional warranties in addition to this one described.

Warranty is valid only for original purchaser of new products, extends from the original purchase date of the original product purchased and is non-transferable.  

ZenBed® mattresses are designed to work on a flat, sturdy (non-spring) surface, foundation or adjustable bed base that is structurally sound and can adequately support the weight of purchaser’s ZenBed® mattress and user(s).  Slats or spaces on any of the surfaces mentioned above cannot exceed 5” or it invalidates this warranty. 

If the ZenBed® is used on an inadequate base of any type not meeting the requirements described above the warranty (expressed or implied) is invalidated.

ZenBed® may require purchaser to provide proof of the quality of the box springs, mattress foundation, or adjustable bed supporting the ZenBed® to make a warranty caim.  ZenBed® reserves the right to void this warranty if the mattress is not used on a proper foundation.

Things covered by this limited warranty:
A visible indentation that exceeds 1.25”, not associated with an indentation or sag due to an inadequate  foundation or adjustable bed base, platform bed, etc.  

Things NOT covered by this limited warranty:
Intentional or unintentional abuse or damage to the ZenBed®, including but not limited to, burns, cuts, rips, or liquid damage not caused by faulty craftsmanship or defective components.

A ‘softening’ of the ZenBed® ZenGEL™ memory foam material, which is normal and does not affect the pressure-relieving benefits of the mattress.  All mattresses soften up over time, some more than others.   

First 10 Years – Full Coverage
During the first 10 years of this limited warranty, ZenBed® will not charge purchaser to repair or replace purchaser’s mattress if it is deemed ineffective.  The replacement mattress is covered under this warranty, valid from the original purchase date of the replaced mattress and is NOT extended beyond that time.

Years 11 to 20 – Prorated Coverage
During years 11 through 20 of this limited warranty ZenBed® will, at its option, repair or replace the mattress at a prorated charge to purchaser.  Purchaser is responsible for transportation costs associated with returning the mattress to ZenBed® for inspection.  If ZenBed® replaces the mattress; the prorated replacement charge is as follows: Replacement fee in year 11 is 50% of original purchase price, and a 5% increase in addition to this for each year beyond 11 up to year 20.

Other Limitations on this Warranty
If a warranty repair/replacement is deemed necessary, purchaser will be required to surrender the original product to ZenBed® at the time of replacement.  There are no express or implied warranties, other than the warranty described in this limited warranty.  This limited warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and the purchaser may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
